Marsh Creek Site 2

Bacterial Findings

The samples that were taken on the 12th were taken a day after a rain. This could explain the "too numerous to count" or "TNTC" on every plate. The total coliform counts for the next two visits decreased steadily. We attribute this drop to the lack of rain over the last few weeks of testing. After the rain right before the first test, the site was covered in a sludge and had a foul smell as time passes the sludge was washed down stream and leaving our water cleaner.
